Upcoming at HCCC

                      Cruising the Creeper Trail & Cookout:  Saturday, September 25th

                           This Activity is for EVERYONE!

            We need to know if you are interested in Cruising the Creeper Trail, need to rent a bike,

                or just going for the cookout at the Lockhart's Cabin.

                                                    Deadline to sign up is August 15th!

               Arrangements need to be made concerning the shuttle/bike rental and cookout.  A headcount

                is needed for the shuttle/bike rental.  We need at least 10 people to get the group rate.  We

                will take the 10:30 a.m. shuttle time and depart from HCCC at 8:00 a.m. to allow time for bike

                renting, loading bikes, etc.  The ride is 17 miles and takes approximately 3 to 4 hours (depending

                on your pace).  For renting a bike, a headcount will be needed to give to JC's Outdoors so they

                may prepare for you.

               With 10 or more people we get the group rate:

                        Shuttle - $11 per adult person

                                Bike Rental & Shuttle - $22 per adult person

                                Shuttle - $6 children 12 & under

                                Shuttle & Bike Rental - $20 children 12 & under

                    Harvey & Arlene will need a headcount to prepare for you at their cabin.  They will furnish the

                hot dogs.  A list of other food items needed will be posted on the bulletin board.  If you plan

                to Cruise the Creeper Trail and bring food too, Arlene will meet us at JC's Outdoors and take

                your food to the cabin.  We should be complete with the ride and back to JC's Outdoors at

                approximately 3:30 p.m.  The cookout is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.

                Planning to ride your own bike?  Need transport of your bike to Damascus and back to HCCC?

                You will need to let us know.  If someone would like to take their truck (more than one may be

                needed) and haul some of the bikes, please let us know.  This would keep us from having so many

                vehicles going to Damascus and back to HCCC.  The church van will be available for those needing

                a ride.

                Watch for sign up sheets for:

                                    Food; Riding the Van; Bringing your Bike (but need transport); and Willing to do Transport of Bikes

                        Contact the office staff with your questions, etc.
