Our Missions
Our congregation believes in supporting the Lord's work within our community, the country, and the world. A minimum of ten percent (10%) of congressional giving is provided to these missions, as well as many members provide their time, energy, and knowledge in direct support of these on-going missions.
Appalachian Christian Service Camp
This allows for Christian children to attend summer camp where education, fun, and responsibility may be developed within a wholesome outdoor environment.
Christian Student Fellowship at East Tennessee State University
Provides support for Christian students at East Tennessee State University for campus activities.
Central India Christian Mission (CICM)
This organization provides evangelism, planting new churches, medical evangelism, water projects, relief efforts and support to children.
Joshua & Ruth Barron
Joshua and Ruth work with CMF-International Christian Missionary Fellowship to the Maasai, in Kenya, Africa.
Emmanuel School of Religion
Provides support for students at Emmanuel, a Christian university of divinity for training students for work in the ministry.
I.D.E.S.-International Disaster Emergency Service, IN
This organization offers help and hope to a hurting world providing shelter, clothing, food, medical supplies and services after a disaster.
Johnson Bible College, Knoxville, TN
Provides Ministers, Teachers, Youth Ministers, etc. out into the world.
Loaves and Fishes Ministry to Homeless
Two times a year many congressional members provide meals and clothing to the less fortunate as part of a
multi-church effort in co-ordination with West Main Street Christian Church, Johnson City, Tennessee.
Local Benevolence
Mountain Mission School, Grundy, VA
This organization provides housing, food, medical, teaching, and support to children from impoverished homes from around the world..
Ninos de Mexico
This organization provides housing, food, medical, teaching, and support to abandoned children within the country of Mexico.
